Mardi Gras relies on the contribution of thousands of volunteers every year to help organise, run and make Mardi Gras so special. All that Mardi Gras magic happens because people want to be involved.
Volunteers are needed for a huge variety of tasks and events - whether helping to volunteer on one of our Working Groups, or being a marshal at the Parade, through to helping maintain the organisation's infrastructure and administration in our office.
Every year we also seek out volunteers with specific skills or training, and this year is no different. We need people with RSA Certificates, a heavy vehicle or forklift drivers license, experience in communications, PR, media and production/event management; and even people willing to hand out flyers/posters etc.
While skills are always welcome what we need the most are people with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. So why not get involved today!
